Advocacy for Women's Health Support Initiative
Fostering a society that upholds, respects and protects the human rights of women, girls and key populations.
Advocacy for Health Support Initiative was born out of the need to change community perception, attitudes, and beliefs on sex work.
We run two (2) Drop-in-Centres in Kasese central Division and Hima town council which are responsive and friendly service facilities with entertainment and reading materials.
AWHSI has supported the formation of 15 savings groups and trained 20 female sex workers in financial literacy, apprenticeship skills.
